OFFICIAL CALL
Mass Meeting
of the Dinwiddie Republican Committee
of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Dinwiddie Republican Committee of the Republican Party, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Susan McCammon, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at Brother’s Pizza, 25809 Cox Road in Petersburg, starting at 7:00 pm local time on April 19th 2010 for the following purposes:

To elect a unit chairman, vice-chairman, treasurer, secretary and members to the unit committee

And for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.

Qualifications for Participation

All legal and qualified voters under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.

Filing Requirements

Candidates for election for Unit Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Dinwiddie Republican Committee at said mass meeting shall file a written statement of intent by mail, email, or in person, to Susan McCammon, P.O. Box 278, Dinwiddie, Virginia 23841, email: gmccammon2@yahoo.com which must be received not later than 5:00 pm, 16 April 2010 and accompanied by any fees as noted below.

If no more than one candidate files for election to any office to be voted upon at the mass meeting, that candidate will be declared elected.

Pre-filing/Registration Fees

Unit Chairman - $25 Pre-filing fee.

Unit Vice-Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer – no pre-filing fee.

Dinwiddie County Committee member - $10 Individual/$15 couple annual dues, first year to be paid at Mass Meeting.

There will be no registration fee to participate in this mass meeting.
